Frequently Asked Questions

Is Chiropractic Safe?

There have been multiple, major, international studies on the safety of chiropractic treatment. The most well-known studies include The Manga Report, The Agency on Health Policy and Research Study, and The New Zealand Commission Report. All of the studies conclude in unison that Chiropractic Treatment is one of the Safest, most Non-Invasive, Wholistic Care methods in the world, among other benefits as well.

How long do I need to be going for adjustments?

The short answer is, it depends. We recognize that every single person is unique and therefore requires different levels of care. When you first come into the office our chiropractors will give you the opportunity to explain your story and life experiences to best understand what is going on. Our office utilizes physical, neurological, postural, and chiropractic examinations to assess your spine, nervous system, and overall health. Based on your results and goals, our chiropractors will tailor a specific care plan for you.

Do you take direct insurance billing?

In an effort to keep our fees as affordable for you and your family as possible, we ONLY Direct-Bill For: Veteran Affairs, RCMP Employee’s  and Motor Vehicle Accidents.

However, we can provide a statement of appointments for you to submit in order to receive compensation from your benefit or insurance providers.

I want to get adjusted, but I’m scared of the “popping” sounds. What do those sounds mean?

The popping sounds are caused by small air pockets within the fluid-filled areas that surround and protect our joints. When your joints “pop” during chiropractic treatment, it’s the small air pockets within those joints that are getting moved around within the fluid.
