Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about chiropractic safety, treatment duration, direct billing, and what to expect at In‑Line Family Chiropractic.
Is chiropractic safe?
Extensive international research—including the Manga Report, the Agency on Health Policy and Research Study, and the New Zealand Commission Report—indicates that chiropractic care is one of the safest non‑invasive healthcare methods. At In‑Line Family Chiropractic we use gentle, evidence‑based techniques tailored to each patient.
How long will I need chiropractic care?
Duration varies by individual. During your first visits, we perform physical, neurological, postural, and chiropractic assessments to understand your condition and goals. Based on these results, we recommend a care plan that may involve relief, corrective, and wellness phases.
Do you offer direct billing?
We direct bill Veterans Affairs, RCMP employees, and motor vehicle accident insurers. For other insurance providers, we supply statements so you can claim reimbursement.
What causes the “popping” sound during adjustments?
The popping noise comes from gas bubbles moving within the fluid that lubricates joints. It’s harmless and indicates that the joint surfaces have separated slightly. If you prefer a low‑force adjustment technique, we offer several instrument‑assisted methods that produce little to no sound.
